Aeronautical Information Service

Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) was established in 2000. However, it began its independent activity on October 30th, 2003 when AIS of Armenia published Aeronautical Information Package in accordance with ICAO standards of Annex 15 and established an International NOTAM office.

The objective of aeronautical information service is to ensure the dissemination of information necessary for the safety, regularity and efficiency of international and national air navigation within the “Yerevan” FIR.

All information is based, conducted, published and distributed in the form of Aeronautical Information Product.

AIS of Armenia consists of two interrelated departments:

• Publication Department
• International NOTAM/Briefing Office.
